John Knox Village associates range in age from 17 to 79. We put together a benefits package that's robust enough to benefit our associates no matter what age or stage of life they're in. But that means there is a lot of information to communicate within about two weeks, during open enrollment.
This summary document was essentially a folder which held a variety of more detailed inserts explaining each benefit and how to enroll.

Portfolio - Weekly e-newsletter "e-Connections"
John Knox Village has more than 1,000 associates working in scattered locations around our 400+ acre campus. Some work during traditional business hours, others work shifts covering 24/7 operations. Getting information out each week that's relevant to everyone - restaurant workers, nurses, grounds, adminstration, public safety, and more, is no small feat. Our goal is to make sure everyone understand how their work makes the Village successful.

Portfolio - John Knox Village Annual Report
This is the fifth year that I've written the annual report for John Knox Village, one of the nation's largest continuing care retirement communities. What started as a 4-page publication printed on index stock with eight small photos has evolved into a full-fledged annual report that fully illustrates the fulfillment that residents and associates gain from being a part of Village life.
I'm especially proud of the way this one brings together the business of what we do and the heart of what we do.
